The archive Zambia does not have. The publication of record we intend to be. And the commitment itself, on the record.
Ten things VersaCorp Media holds to.
Every story we publish is also filed, sourced, and dated. The article is what you read today. The record is what someone finds in ten years. If it is not written down properly it did not happen, and that is precisely the problem we exist to solve.
Confirmed, reported, unconfirmed, rumour. These are different things and we label them as different things. Publishing an unverified claim as fact is not speed. It is the thing that broke Zambian entertainment coverage in the first place.
No paid placements dressed as journalism. Sponsored work is labelled as sponsored, every time. Nobody buys a story from us and nobody buys silence.
We do not write "African music" when we mean Kopala rap. We name the artist, the city, the producer, the label, the year. Specificity is respect, and it is the difference between documenting a culture and gesturing at one.
Music, film, fashion, comedy, creators, car culture, the arts, and the business behind all of it. The undercovered beats are not less important. They are less crowded, and the record has its biggest holes there.
We move fast. We do not publish what we cannot stand behind. A story that turns out to be wrong costs more than the story that arrived an hour later.
Significant errors get a labelled correction and a date. Quietly deleting a mistake is how outlets lose the one thing they cannot buy back.
Credit sources. Name what we do not know. Explain how we know what we know. Readers who can check us are readers who can trust us.
A weak thumbnail on a strong story tells the reader the story is not worth their time. Presentation is not decoration. It is the first claim we make about our own seriousness.
Someone will one day need to know what Zambian entertainment looked like in 2026. Everything we publish is written for them as well as for today.
