Sets editorial direction, approves what publishes, and is accountable for every correction. Editorial decisions belong to the newsroom and to nobody else, including advertisers, subjects of coverage, and anyone who has ever offered money for either.
VersaCorp Media is independently owned and currently operates as a small team. We would rather state that plainly than imply a newsroom we do not yet have. Our second standard is to say what is verified and say what is not, and that applies to claims about ourselves first. Contributor bylines carry the contributor’s name.
